John is a member in good standing of the JAAR (Jackson Area Association of Realtors), MAR (Michigan Association of Realtors), NAR (National Association of Realtors), Greater Jackson Chamber of Commerce. 

John Rockey feels that being a REALTOR is about more than joining professional associations, John believes REALTORS should be involved in the communities where they work as well. John has served his community in many capacities such as the Community Involvement Committee, Equal Opportunity Committee, Member Services Committee, Marketing Committee, Treasurer Jackson Area Association of Realtors, President Elect Jackson Area Association of Realtors, President Jackson Area Association of Realtors, Past President Jackson Area Association of Realtors, Board Member Jackson Area Association of Realtors, Habitat for Humanity, Humanitarian work in Jamaica, Ecuador, Ethiopia, AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) coaching children. He and EXIT Realty 1st also support Habitat for Humanity and to date EXIT Realty has donated over $7 Million to charity.

John is a Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather. John also collects old coins and in particular, nickels, enjoys woodworking, making furniture and crafts. John's most enjoyable hobby is General Aviation being a private pilot. John has lived in Kokomo IN, Marion IN, Warsaw/Winona Lake IN, Versailles OH, Jackson MI.
